About martial arts

Judo is a martial arts sport created in Japan. The base of judo is jiu-jitsu.
Judo techniques and competition rules were developed and systematized by the founder of this type of wrestling, Jigoro Kano (October 28, 1860 – May 4, 1938). This is how one of the types of martial arts – judo appeared.
The headquarters of Judo (Kodokan Institute) is located in Tokyo, Japan.

Jiu-jitsu is one of the oldest types of Japanese martial arts, from which such types of wrestling as judo, karate, and Aikido emerged.
